Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) was called out by journalist Nick Sortor after he was allegedly caught in undercover video bragging about abusing his congressional power and soliciting advice on how to cheat on his wife so he could “f*ck tens.”

Sortor released video Tuesday showing him confronting Swalwell outside of a hotel after apparently listening in on and recording his conversation with lobbyists over dinner at a restaurant.

Back in 2004, Senator Fritz Hollings sat down with Mike Wallace and gave a very candid explanation about why he was retiring from the Senate.  In short, he's getting out because all politicians spend virtually all of their time raising money for reelection.  There's not much time for anything else.  You can imagine how much worse it is today, two decades later!

Stefanik read the news headlines on Nov. 15, the second day of a public hearing as part of the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, who continued the criticism of Schiff. The impeachment probe centers around a July phone call in which Trump asked the president of Ukraine to investigate former vice president and 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. Yovanovitch has testified that she was forced out of her position after Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, engineered a smear campaign against her.

On the first day of public impeachment hearings, Intel Committee Chairman Adam Schiff said he did not know the identity of the whistleblower. However, the former Chief of Staff for the National Security Council told One America's Emerald Robinson that Schiff’s claim does not line up with what the congressman has said in the past.

Florida GOP Congressman Matt Gaetz has filed an ethics complaint against House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff for the way he has been handling the impeachment inquiry into President Donald J. Trump. Specifically, Rep. Gaetz says that Schiff has been "distorting  @POTUS ’s call with President Zelensky, Lying to the public about 'Russian collusion', and blocking members of Congress from attending impeachment depositions." 

"Nancy Pelosi's impeachment resolution gives unprecedented power to the Intelligence Committee Chairman, Adam Schiff," Gaetz told reporters ahead of filing his complaint. "That's deeply troubling to me for a few reasons. First, Adam Schiff has proven in this process that he cannot adhere to the fundamental principles of fairness. Second, and I would say most important for my work today, is that Adam Schiff has violated the ethical rules of the House of Representatives."
