In the lead-up to the COP30 climate summit in Belém, Brazil, a new four-lane highway is cutting through tens of thousands of acres of protected Amazon rainforest.

The event, to be held in November, is expected to host more than 50,000, including world leaders and high-profile activists who will surely fly on private jets and traverse a road that has been scarred into the pristine landscape.

The United Nations (UN) appears to be firmly embracing its novel role as one of “disinformation warriors” through what can be described as a series of “nesting dolls” of censorship and surveillance-enabling treaties, resolutions, frameworks, and initiatives.

The world organization, once focused on peacekeeping and humanitarian efforts, is now using its Department of Global Communications as a bullhorn to promote these new priorities.

The head of the department and UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications Melissa Fleming is particularly active, if repetitive in her efforts. During a gathering in Mexico earlier in the week, Fleming once again delivered some doomsday-style remarks about the threat of “misinformation and AI.”

At the same time, she promoted controversial UN instruments like the Pact for the Future, its annex, the Global Digital Compact, and Global Principles for Information Integrity. A wide range of contentious policies are contained in these: digital ID, censorship aimed at “hate speech and misinformation,” enabling surveillance – while the latter also recommends algorithmic censorship and demonetization.

Incoming Border Czar Tom Homan says the Trump administration will launch an investigation into the bad actors behind the demolition of U.S. borders and invasion of the country over the past four years.

During a Friday appearance on Hannity, Homan explained how the new administration plans to execute key elements of a stringent immigration and border enforcement agenda that could also involve punitive action against officials and organizations responsible for flooding the nation with an unprecedented number of ‘migrants.’

“The Trump team is coming to town. We’re going to take control on January 20, and people are going to be held accountable,” Homan said.

“What did the United Nations have to do with this open border crisis? Who in the Biden administration opened the doors on this humanitarian crisis? What NGOs were involved in this?”

President-elect Donald Trump has reportedly extended an offer to Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik to serve as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations, as reported by Politico and confirmed by two sources speaking to far-left CNN.

Stefanik, who just secured a commanding reelection in New York’s 21st Congressional District, has represented the district since 2015 and serves as the fourth-ranking Republican in the House as chair of the House Republican Conference.

Politico reported that her appointment would necessitate a special election in New York’s 21st District, a solidly conservative constituency she has represented since 2015.

While Stefanik’s office has yet to confirm the news, the congresswoman hinted at her openness to joining Trump’s administration.

UPDATE: Sept. 24 - The UN Just Adopted the “Pact for the Future” Which Lays the Foundation for a New “Global Order”

The game-plan, titled Global Principles for Information Integrity, seeks to put an end to “harmful misinformation, disinformation, and hate speech” online, all while “upholding human rights such as the freedom of speech.”

Guterres presented the game-plan with a sense of urgency, commanding governments, technology companies, the media and advertisers to take control and establish official narratives, while quashing opposition voices. The UN supports Big Tech’s algorithmic control over the information stream online and seeks to control online speech further. A global body of elites seek to delete what they believe is the disinformation, and they seek to discredit and demonetize the voices of dissent. All the censorship coming from global power systems is war on free speech, but it’s also a war on truth, so that these power systems cannot be held to account for their abuses.
