Video: Only Thing Better Than Look on Schiff's Face Is Stefanik Reading His Comments Back to Him

Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., read several news articles that quote Adam Schiff, the House Intelligence Committee chair, talking about how lawmakers would hear from the whistleblower at the center of the impeachment inquiry. Stefanik read the news headlines on Nov. 15, the second day of a public hearing as part of the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump. Stefanik referred to the "abuse of power" in the proceedings by Schiff and the Democrats, citing the news articles to support her assertion. Stefanik then yielded the rest of her time to Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, who continued the criticism of Schiff. The impeachment probe centers around a July phone call in which Trump asked the president of Ukraine to investigate former vice president and 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. Yovanovitch has testified that she was forced out of her position after Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, engineered a smear campaign against her.

Video: Schiff Shifting Story on Knowing Whistleblower Identity

On the first day of public impeachment hearings, Intel Committee Chairman Adam Schiff said he did not know the identity of the whistleblower. However, the former Chief of Staff for the National Security Council told One America's Emerald Robinson that Schiff’s claim does not line up with what the congressman has said in the past.

Former Capitol Police Chief Blows Hole in Dems Case Against Trump

By Reagan Ryes
RFAngle.com

Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund wrote an 8-page letter detailing the events that occurred at the Capitol on January 6. In the letter addressed to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Sund’s timeline of events seems to directly refute the Democrats’ claim that the insurrection on Capitol Hill was incited by a speech given by President Donald Trump on the same day. The Democrats’ entire impeachment case against Trump rests solely on the assumption that his speech caused the disturbing events that unfolded inside the Capitol as a joint session of Congress met to certify the electoral votes of the 2020 Presidential Election. In the letter, Sund, who stepped down as Chief shortly after the insurrection occurred, states that his department “did not fail,” adding that the Capitol Police acted according to the intelligence available prior to the events. There was never any information showing they would be facing a group of “thousands of well-coordinated, well-equipped violent criminals,” intent upon attacking law enforcement officers as they sought to gain access to the Capitol itself.

“Incitement” Timeline Debunked

Ex-Capitol Police Chief Says Pelosi, McConnell’s Sergeants-at-Arms Refused Security Measures

by Raheem Kassam
TheNationalPulse.com

The Washington Post has reported that the outgoing Capitol Police Chief, Steve Sund, believes his efforts to secure the premises were undermined by a lack of concern from House and Senate security officials who answer directly to Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate leader Mitch McConnell. The National Pulse can also report the Washington Post’s timeline proves it was impossible for Trump speech attendees to have made it to the Capitol in time for the breach.

In addition to the fact that Trump openly called for the “cheering on” of Congressman, and “peaceful” protests, the timeline as established from numerous, establishment media reports simply doesn’t stack up.

The admission that House and Senate security leaders failed to provide Capitol Police with resources on the day will raise questions over their role in the day’s events.

WaPo reported late Sunday night:

Two days before Congress was set to formalize President-elect Joe Biden’s victory, Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund was growing increasingly worried about the size of the pro-Trump crowds expected to stream into Washington in protest.

To be on the safe side, Sund asked House and Senate security officials for permission to request that the D.C. National Guard be placed on standby in case he needed quick backup.

But, Sund said Sunday, they turned him down.

In his first interview since pro-Trump rioters stormed the U.S. Capitol last week, Sund, who has since resigned his post, said his supervisors were reluctant to take formal steps to put the Guard on call even as police intelligence suggested that the crowd President Trump had invited to Washington to protest his defeat probably would be much larger than earlier demonstrations.

House Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving said he wasn’t comfortable with the “optics” of formally declaring an emergency ahead of the demonstration, Sund said. Meanwhile, Senate Sergeant at Arms Michael Stenger suggested that Sund should informally seek out his Guard contacts, asking them to “lean forward” and be on alert in case Capitol Police needed their help.

Irving could not be reached for comment. A cellphone number listed in his name has not accepted messages since Wednesday. Messages left at a residence he owns in Nevada were not immediately returned, and there was no answer Sunday evening at a Watergate apartment listed in his name. A neighbor said he had recently moved out.

Sund recalled a conference call with Pentagon officials and officials from the D.C. government. He said on the call: “I am making an urgent, urgent immediate request for National Guard assistance… I have got to get boots on the ground.”

But the request was apparently denied over optics.

“I don’t like the visual of the National Guard standing a police line with the Capitol in the background,” an Army official replied.

John Falcicchio, chief of staff for D.C. Mayor Muriel E. Bowser admitted: “Literally, this guy is on the phone, I mean, crying out for help. It’s burned in my memories.”

Video: Sen Paul Boldly Reads Name of Possible Whistleblower on Senate Floor

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) boldly stated the name of alleged Ukraine ‘whistleblower’ Eric Ciaramella on the Senate floor as senators debated President Trump’s impeachment on Tuesday as well as an empassioned warning about the dangers of secret courts and secret spying.

Paul was denied his questions twice by Chief Justice John Roberts because it mentioned the alleged whistleblower’s name.

We are all banned from mentioning his name, which is an infringement on free speech.

Paul also had an accompanying poster that included the name. He has pushed for the name to come out publicly based on free speech grounds and the right of the President to know who it is.

Joni Ernst Asks Why Is Donald Trump Being Impeached Over Ukraine Aid That Most of the House Impeachment Managers Voted Against?

RedState.com

One of the scurrilous charges being thrown at President Trump by the imbeciles who make up the House of Representatives ‘impeachment managers’ in the ongoing travesty of the Senate trial is that somehow he damaged Ukraine’s ability to defend itself.

Facially, this is rather stupid. The first lethal aid provided to Ukraine ever by the United States arrived in April 2018. Prior to then, the Obama administration had focused on the really big ticket items like MREs and blankets. This fact, alone, should be enough to torpedo the whole nonsense about the short delay in delivering aid earlier this year being critical. In fact, none of the Javelin anti-tank missiles have yet been used in combat. But it wasn’t.

As if attempting to prove that military service does not imbue one with either manliness or honor, Colorado Representative Jason Crow claimed that the delay in military assistance caused the death of Ukrainian soldiers. This is a monstrous lie and should have been called out by someone in the Senate. But it wasn’t even the worst:

What Happened to ‘Emergency!’ and ‘Urgency!’? Democrats Push Off Impeachment Resolution Until at Least January of Next Year

By Danile Greenfield
FrontPageMag.com

The urgent need to impeach President Trump is no longer so urgent.

So much for impeachment.

After pushing vulnerable members of her own caucus to roll the dice on impeachment, Pelosi, Hoyer, and Clyburn blinked. With the polls decisively against them and the Senate ready to jettison impeachment, House Democrats have decided to drag it out and delay.

With no impeachment resolution this year, their experts will have a chance to propose ideas for rebooting impeachment. Wait for a more personalized, sexier, edgier impeachment with a floor show and a whole bunch of new messaging.

The gamble is that either the public perception of impeachment, especially among independents will shift, or Republicans will blink and let them have a trial on their terms, or their messaging will improve.

This particular approach allows the Dems to retain control of impeachment. Even as it goes nowhere. And becomes more likely to wreck their election chances.
