Video: John Stossel - Green New Deal: Fact versus Fiction

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal proposes to save the planet. It calls for the United States to reduce carbon emissions to zero in 10 years. James Meigs, former editor of Popular Mechanics, tells me “That's a goal you could only imagine possible if you have no idea how the energy economy works or how energy is produced in this country.”

Michigan to Clear 400 Acres of Forest to Build Chinese-Made Solar Panel Farm That Will Occasionally Generate Electricity

TheGatewayPundit.com

Republican Michigan lawmakers are outraged at the state’s Department of Natural Resources over its plans to chop down over 400 acres of trees to build a solar panel farm that will occasionally generate electricity.

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources wants to destroy a forest in Otsego County to install rows of Chinese-made solar panels.

“Republican State Representative Ken Borton of Gaylord and others are upset with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources over a plan to destroy more than 400 acres of forest, located just west of Gaylord, to clear the way for the solar panels. Borton says there should be mass firings at the DNR over it.” – WSJM reported.

“I’m hearing from many of my Democrat friends, people who believe in climate change, that they realize that for them to cut all these trees down is absolutely going the wrong way,” Borton said, according to WSJM.

EPA Approves Road in Florida to be Made from Radioactive Waste

TheGatewayPundit.com

The Biden-led Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a Florida project to use radioactive waste in road construction.

The EPA approved a project by Mosaic Fertilizer to construct a road using different mixtures of phosphogypsum, a radioactive waste.

Phosphogypsum is a radioactive byproduct of phosphate fertilizer production, and because of its radioactivity, it is usually stored in protective stacks.

In a statement the EPA shared that “Results from multiple modeling efforts indicate that risks due to the proposed pilot project are low.”

Bill Gates’ Creepy, Costly Plan to Destroy the Atmosphere and Store CO2 Underground MOVES FORWARD in Canada

NaturalNews.com

  • Bill Gates funds Canadian startup Deep Sky to remove CO2 from the atmosphere.
  • The project aims to store carbon underground and sell carbon credits.
  • Critics question Gates’ motives, seeing it as a step toward controlling the planet.
  • Direct air capture technology is expensive, energy-intensive, and unproven at scale.
  • Gates’ involvement raises concerns about population control and global manipulation.

Bill Gates has a plan to suck CO2 out of the atmosphere, destroy the planet

Bill Gates has always been a man with a plan—or rather, a man with many plans. But his latest venture, the Deep Sky project, takes his ambitions to a whole new level of dystopian creepiness. This isn’t just about saving the planet; this is about controlling it. Gates, the billionaire tech mogul turned self-appointed climate savior, is now funding a Canadian startup to suck carbon dioxide directly out of the atmosphere. Sounds noble, right? Wrong. This is the first step in what appears to be a deranged scheme to engineer the Earth’s atmosphere and, by extension, control the population.

Is the Myth of Plastic Recycling Finally Being Exposed?

TheNewAmerican.com

It was to be a routine voyage.

It would become historic.

On March 22, 1987, the barge Mobro 4000, loaded with six million pounds of garbage and towed by tugboat Break of Dawn, departed Islip, New York. It was bound for Morehead City, North Carolina — but never did dock there. Instead, it spent the next five months at sea, turned away by multiple states and three foreign countries. It became big news when journalist Dan Rather called it “the most watched load of garbage in the memory of man.” But another load of garbage was the story the media spun about it. In reality, no one would accept the Mobro because of a rumor that it was carrying medical waste. But that’s not the narrative the media pushed.

It advanced the notion that the Mobro’s fate was a result of a lack of dump space.

Genetically Modified Crops: A Growing Threat to Health and the Environment

NaturalNews.com

Bioengineered foods and genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are commonly confused with each other, but they have different meanings. “Bioengineered” describes food and products that are enhanced with scientific techniques to add particular traits. In contrast, “GMOs” involve changing the genetic makeup of animals, plants or microbes in ways that do not occur naturally using methods like genetic engineering.

Health risks posed by GM foods

Some notable issues related to the consumption of GM foods and products include the following:

Allergic reactions

Genetic modifications can transfer allergens from one food to another. For instance, a study published in The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) revealed that soybeans engineered with a Brazil nut gene caused allergic reactions in people who are nut-sensitive. This led to the withdrawal of some products due to this serious risk. Without proper labeling, people with allergies can unknowingly consume these harmful ingredients.

Biden Admin Denies Dangers of Popular US Hiking Trail ‘As Radioactive As Chernobyl’

Do you trust the government?

Infowars.com

An expert is warning the plutonium levels near New Mexico’s popular hiking trail Acid Canyon in Los Alamos are at levels similar to empty cities surrounding Chernobyl, a Ukrainian nuclear power plant that erupted and sent toxic waste into the surrounding area in 1986.

New Study Finds Rising CO2 Enhances Planetary Greening and Reduces Drought Risk

WattsUpWithThat.com

“…elevated CO2 concentrations not only boosted vegetation growth through the fertilizer effect but also indirectly enhanced water availability [reducing drought risk] by improving water use efficiency.” – Song et al., 2024

One of the more commonly-stated concerns linked to “global warming” is that sweltering heat will parch the terrestrial landscape (browning), limit vegetation growth, and foment water shortages – even widespread drought.

However, a new study suggests the Earth’s rising CO2 concentration has the exact opposite effect in the real world.

In their extensive trend analysis spanning the last few decades, the scientists determined elevated CO2 was the single most “dominant driver” (accounting for 45% of the correlation) when assessing the link between reducing vegetation water demand and improved water use efficiency.

LA Times Admits California Plastic Bag Ban Actually Made the Problem Worse

‘Unintended consequences’ Newspaper calls for 'a second plastic bag ban'

Foxnews.com

A Los Angeles Times editorial is asking for a "do over" in the plastic bag ban that actually led to more plastic waste, according to a recent report.

After California became the first state in 2016 to ban single-use plastic grocery bags, the thicker convenience totes that took their place as a reusable and recyclable alternative weren't reused and actually aren't recyclable. In fact, the study finds, the total amount of trash from plastic bags that California sends to landfills has never been higher

In February, the LA Times reported on the study, which looked at the impact of the plastic bag ban implemented ten years ago as an effort to reduce the amount of plastic waste and encourage the public to use reusable bags. A "loophole" allowed businesses to offer thicker "reusable" plastic bags at checkout for a small fee, but many consumers threw those out after a single use as well.

Climate Change is Creating so Much Global GREENING That Fanatics Are Shifting to Panic About Shrinking Deserts

NaturalNews.com

Almost everywhere around the world right now deserts are shrinking as greening accelerates, prompting climate fanatics to change course by demanding that something now be done to "Save the deserts!"

Climate fanatics have long complained about desertification caused by climate change and the excess release of "greenhouse gases" like carbon dioxide (CO2). These deranged people are so scared of CO2 that they have tried every which way to essentially ban the natural gas so the planet can be "cooled."

The Guardian (United Kingdom) ran a headline about how "Desertification is turning the Earth barren," the narrative being that expanding drylands are leaving entire countries "facing famine." It turns out the opposite is true: greenhouse gases are greening the planet as vegetation is growing faster and faster.
