While Americans brace for another contentious presidential election, the Democrats have a better idea: Subvert the Constitution in the name of “democracy.” Once again, the party of the left shows why it’s losing Americans’ trust.

Quietly but steadily, the Democratic Party has been advancing its latest bold idea to create a uni-party state: A “National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.”

In case you missed it, the Associated Press reported last week that “Maine will become the latest to join a multistate effort to elect the president by popular vote,” the 17th state to do so.

As the AP noted, “Under the proposed compact, each state would allocate all its electoral votes to whoever wins the national popular vote for president, regardless of how individual states voted in an election.”

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs on Tuesday vetoed legislation that would define residency in Arizona and require proof of residency, such as a home rental agreement or ownership, to vote in the state’s elections.

Hobbs stole the 2022 election for Governor from Kari Lake, and she is getting ready to rig the 2024 election for Joe Biden.

SB 2581 stipulates that “a resident is an individual who has actual physical presence in the state for at least one hundred eighty-one days with the intent to remain” but provides exceptions for individuals to vote if they provide evidence of employment, residential property, child school enrollment, and active duty military service.

The Democrat-Marxist plan to steal elections like they did in 2020 depends on mail-in voting schemes. It is well documented that the Democrats always do better with mail-in voting. It’s much easier to cheat that way.

In a pivotal legal ruling on Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court has rejected a challenge to a Texas statute that restricts mail-in voting based on age, marking a significant setback for efforts to expand no-excuse absentee balloting in the state, the Epoch Times reported.

This decision effectively halts the push by Democrats and other groups to broadly implement “no-excuse” mail-in voting in Texas, with potential ramifications extending to other states possessing similar legislation.

The case, originally brought forth in 2020 by the Texas Democratic Party and a cohort of voters amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, sought to eliminate the state’s age-based restrictions on mail-in voting.

House Democrats have introduced a bill Thursday that would enforce “accountability” of the Supreme Court by establishing an Office of the Inspector General within the Judicial branch to oversee Supreme Court Justices.

The “Judicial Ethics Enforcement Act of 2024″ co-sponsored by Reps. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Melanie Stansbury (D-N.M.) Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) seeks to create “effective oversight” of the Supreme Court to “restore public trust” in the institution.

The United States Senate was supposed to hold the impeachment trial of Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas beginning at 1 PM Eastern Wednesday. It actually proved to be a historically rapid dismissal by the Democrats.

As The Washington Post reported, the Senate at Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) urging voted to dismiss both articles of impeachment against Mayorkas, who has presided over the worst border crisis in America history.

Democrats voted along party lines on the first article of impeachment which charges Mayorkas with “willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law,” finding the charge unconstitutional. Sen. Lisa Murkowski (RINO-Alaska) voted present.

51-48-1, Senate votes to kill the first impeachment article. Murkowski lone defector. She voted “present.” Schumer now wants to move to kill second impeachment article.

It has been a rough week for the National Public Radio (NPR) after a respected editor, Uri Berliner, wrote a scathing account of the political bias at the media outlet.

Although NPR responded by denying the allegations, the controversy has rekindled the debate over the danger of the government selectively funding media outlets. That is a debate that does not simply turn on the question of bias, but more fundamentally on why the public should support this particular media company to the exclusion of others.

The Biden administration and Congress continue to struggle with a massive budget deficit and growing national debt, which stands at $34 trillion and is approximately 99 percent of Gross Domestic Product.

Despite the need to make tough cuts in core public programs, the public subsidy for NPR has been protected as sacrosanct for decades.
