Its finally here: The world´s first vegan salmon filet created with 3D Food Printing or 3D Food Structuring technology. Presented by the Austrian Startup Revo Foods, available from September 2023 in supermarkets. THE FILET contains mycoprotein (fungi protein) as a main ingredient, and has the typical fat layers of conventional salmon filets. 3D Food Printing is one of the most innovative concepts of food tech, and allows for the first time the creation of complex products such as realistic plant-based filets or steaks. All this is thanks to the precise integration of protein and fat ingredients into a final product.
