The majority of gender-confused children grow out of that feeling by the time they are fully grown adults, according to a long-term study.

Researchers in the Netherlands tracked more than 2,700 children from age 11 to their mid-twenties, asking them every three years of feelings about their gender.

Results showed at the start of the research, around one-in-10 children (11 percent) expressed 'gender non-contentedness' to varying degrees.

She told the genre clinician she had an eating disorder and saw a YouTube video that suggested it's because she's transgender. Within 5 minutes the clinician asks if she wants a mastectomy . . .

Vicki Piper, a 57-year-old trans man, won the 2024 USAW Masters National this past week in weightlifting.

Vicki beat her opponents by 50 pounds in total lifts. Vicki came  in first place in the women’s 76-kilogram weight category, writing on Instagram that both lifts were competition personal records.

This was in the age group over 55 years. After all, they want to make the contest fair – based on age.

A report from French lawmakers has concluded that child sex changes could be one of the “greatest ethical scandals in the history of medicine.”

The report, commissioned by members of the center-right Republican Party, outlines how healthcare providers have been influenced by trans-activist groups into violating basic medical standards.Citing “tense scientific and medical debate”, the report accuses LGBT groups of promoting gender transition through aggressive social media campaigns aimed at vulnerable young people.

Detransitioners have been trying to warn the public that so-called gender-affirming care—transgender surgeries, hormones, and puberty blockers—is both experimental and dangerous, especially for minors.

Now, thanks to the efforts of journalist Michael Shellenberger, we know that World Professional Association for Transgender Health doctors and medical experts pushing these practices were well aware of the experimental and lasting nature of the procedures they were recommending. Yet these so-called health professionals pushed forward, despite alarming awareness of tumors developing from hormones, reduced sexual function, lack of proper informed consent for minors, and more, according to Shellenberger’s reporting.

The truth about transgenderism is coming out. On Monday, Michael Shellenberger released a multitude of internal files from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) that “prove that the practice of transgender medicine is neither scientific nor medical.” WPATH has been accepted by the political, cultural, and medical establishments as the authority on transgenderism, but what its members say in private is not the narrative they sell to the public.

Instead of the rigorous, careful, evidence-based medicine that champions of “gender-affirming care” claim to practice, the WPATH files show doctors who are making it up as they go along, smashing through guardrails even though they know that the children they are chemically and surgically altering cannot really give informed consent. And people are noticing.

In recent years, the discussion surrounding transgender mental health and so-called “gender affirming care” has reached the forefront of societal discourse. However, a critical examination of the evidence suggests that the current approach may not only be insufficient but potentially harmful in addressing the mental health crises faced by many in the transgender community.

A study from the Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law highlights a troubling statistic: 81% of transgender adults in the U.S. have considered suicide, with 42% having attempted it. This rate of suicidality is alarmingly high and demands a serious and thoughtful response from our medical and social institutions.

Yet, despite the prevalence of gender affirming care as a treatment for transgender individuals experiencing dysphoria, evidence suggests that such interventions may not adequately address the root causes of mental distress. Indeed, some literature indicates that post-transition individuals may continue to experience, or even exhibit an increase in, mental health issues and suicidality.
