Trump Strikes Trade Deal With EU

The Washington Times

President Trump struck a trade deal Wednesday with the European Union, reaping significant concessions as top EU officials moved to avoid an escalating tariff war with the U.S.

The agreement seeks to eliminate all tariffs and trade barriers and eliminate all subsidies on non-auto industrial goods, which was the deal pushed by Mr. Trump.

“This was a very big day for free and fair trade,” Mr. Trump said in announcing the deal in the Rose Garden with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker by his side.

Mr. Trump called the deal a “new phase” in the U.S.-E.U. relationship.

The deal also included the E.U. importing more U.S. soybeans, lowering industrial tariffs and working on an agreement to import more liquified natural gas (LNG) from America.

“I had the intention to make a deal today and we made a deal today,” said Mr. Juncker.

Video: Hillary Clinton Admits She Met Secretly With Putin in 2014

Criticizes Trump, yet says she ‘bonded’ with Russian leader

Infowars.com

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton bashed President Trump over his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin last week, but failed to mention she also bonded with Putin in 2012 over Siberian tigers.

In her memoir “Hard Choices,” Clinton explained her meeting with Putin in Moscow, where she asked him what he’s “doing to save the tigers in Siberia.”

“He looked up in surprise. Now I had his attention,” she wrote.

“He took her to his private office.”

Additionally, Clinton recalled several anecdotes Putin told her during their time together, including a personal story about his mother.

“During the war Putin’s father came home from the front lines for a short break,” Clinton wrote.

“When he approached the apartment where he lived with his wife, he saw a pile bodies stacked in the street and men loading them into a waiting flatbed truck. As he drew nearer, he saw a woman’s legs wearing shoes that he recognized as his wife’s. He ran up and demanded his wife’s body.”

“After an argument the man gave in, and Putin’s father took his in his arms and, after examining her, realized she was still alive. He carried her up to their apartment and nursed her back to health. Eight years later, in 1952, their son Vladimir was born.”

Fast-forward 6 years, and you’d think Clinton would have never given Putin the time of day.

“The great mystery is why this president has not spoken up for our country, and we saw this most clearly in this recent meeting with Putin,” Clinton said of Trump on Saturday.

“So this idea that somehow we are not sure where our own president stands is deeply disturbing.”

And as the Helsinki meeting concluded, Clinton accused Trump of being on Russia’s “team” in a smarmy tweet.

Meeting with Russia’s leader is standard diplomatic protocol for a sitting president and for his Cabinet – unless that president is Donald Trump.

Lisa Page Confirms: The Chinese, Not The Russians, Hacked Hillary’s Emails

"The upper echelon of the FBI concealed intelligence confirming Chinese state-backed ‘assets’ had illegally acquired former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s 30,000+ “missing” emails, federal sources said."

WASHINGTON — Hillary Rodham Clinton’s Blackberry was hacked by the Chinese, according to Peter Strzok’s mistress Lisa Page, who testified behind closed doors about her role in Operation Crossfire Hurricane.

While her boyfriend Strzok stonewalled Congress, Page was open to cooperating behind the scenes with Republican lawmakers. Ohio’s Jim Jordan led the way in getting Page into backdoor meetings where she aided investigators in their probe of Page and Strzok’s collusion against the Trump government.

TruePundit reports: The embattled Page tossed James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok and Bill Priestap among others under the Congressional bus, alleging the upper echelon of the FBI concealed intelligence confirming Chinese state-backed ‘assets’ had illegally acquired former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s 30,000+ “missing” emails, federal sources said. The Russians didn’t do it. The Chinese did, according to well-placed FBI sources.

This fact victory is very important for me, because I reported at Breitbart during the first campaign that Hillary Clinton’s Blackberry was hacked by the Chinese. This is what forced Peter Strzok and the “Operation Crossfire Hurricane” people to snap into motion, making sure that James Comey did NOT find Hillary Clinton “gross and negligent” for purposes of the Espionage Act of 1913.

Video: Tucker Carlson: The Cold War Is Over. The World Has Changed. Time To Rethink America's Alliances

By Ian Schwartz
RealClearPolitics.com

Tucker Carlson deliveres a monologue on Trump's critics hate the idea of rethinking or correcting any of the countless blunders they’ve made over the years. On the big questions, Trump is indisputably right: The Cold War is over. The world has changed. It is time to rethink America’s alliances, and act in our own interests for once, Carlson said.

"The people yelling the loudest about how the Russians are our greatest enemy and Trump is their puppet happen to be the very same people who have been mismanaging our foreign policy for the past two decades, the people who invaded Iraq and wouldn't admit it was a mistake, the people who killed Muammar Gaddafi for no obvious reason and prolonged the horrible Syrian civil war and then threw open the borders of Europe, the ones still defending the pointless Afghan conflict and even now planning brand-new disasters around the world in Lebanon, Iran and, yes, in Russia," Carlson explained.

"These are people who've made America weaker and poor and sadder, the group whose failures got Trump elected in the first place," he said. "You'd think by this late date they would be discredited completely and unemployable, wearing uniforms and picking up trash by the side of the turnpike somewhere, but, no, they're not."

Video: The Video Trump Played For Kim Showing What North Korea's Future Could Look Like

As part of his effort to get dictator Kim Jong Un to agree to denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, President Trump showed him a video that presented all the possibilities for North Korea’s future if sanctions come off.

In addition to the benefits economic development and innovative technologies would bring to the Hermit Kingdom, Trump also emphasized what developing the country’s beaches could do for the nation.

“They have great beaches! You see that whenever they're exploding the cannons into the ocean, right?” Trump said after playing the four-minute video for the press.

“So I said, ‘Boy, look at that beach. Wouldn't that make a great condo behind’ – and I explained it,” the real estate mogul said.

“I said, ‘Instead of doing that you could have the best hotels in the world right there.’ Think of it from a real estate perspective.”

GDPR: The Aftermath of Enforced Tyranny

By Mark Angelides
LibertyNation.com

Yesterday saw the worldwide rollout of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) law created, orchestrated, and imposed by the wholly undemocratic European Union (E.U.). As with so many of the E.U.’s projects, it was veiled in the language of fairness and equality; and as such, was swallowed up by those to whom such buzzwords are like water in a desert.

Yet the reality is quite different. As with any large organization that seeks to deny individual liberty and sovereignty, this piece of legislation was, from the start, designed to take power away from the little guy, the individual, and consolidate it in the superstate.

Innocent Interest?

On the surface, the idea that there is a law that will stop others gathering, using, selling, or even just holding on to your personal information is sure to be welcomed by most liberty-minded folk. But the E.U. rarely does a single thing that does not lead to a larger share of power for the Union itself; this is no different.

Legalized Tyranny

It is through laws and treaties that the European Union exercises and gains power at the expense of nation-states. This law is thrust upon formerly sovereign states and, under treaties, must automatically be made law. Even the U.K., who are allegedly leaving the bloc soon, are forced to adopt this law and implement it.

But where the real tyranny comes from is the creation of positions of power. Each company that deals with information in any way must have a “Controller” who is responsible for data security and management; this could be anyone assigned the role, or a new role created. Not too bad so far, but…
