Video: Social Media Addiction - Sad World - Mad World

This is a short animated film created by Steve Cutts back in 2016. Like so many other things, we have all grown numb to the reality of what mobile phones and social media have done to all of us. This animation is a cold slap in the face for us all to WAKE THE HELL UP! Put the GD phones down and reconnect with the real world around us.

A study suggests the dependence of children on their mobile phones could threaten the very fabric of society. Many teens are fanatics to be always available and are extremely uncomfortable if unable to communicate with their countless friends every day. If the trend continues, young people will soon be unable to form and maintain relationships without the help of a mobile, the study by a leading sociologist concludes.

A British child in four between the ages of five and 16 now has a mobile phone. In addition to making calls, young people use their phones to send millions of text messages to friends every day. The author of the study, Dr. Hisao Ishii said, teenagers can be seen taking advantage of every free minute to touch the base with their friends. It is not the content of communication but the act of keeping in touch what matters. And he warned: authentic conversation will be driven out by superficial communication, in which the act of bringing the which is leading to a deterioration in the quality of relationships, since the very fabric of society can be threatened.

Although Dr. Ishii's research was based on children in Japan, British psychologist have confirmed that the same trends apply to the UK child psychologist Dr. David Lewis said: "The mobile phone, like the Furby or Rubik's Cube in front of it, has developed into a gaming craze in Children like to feel as if they are not in the group, and think that without a phone they will be left out. It is like a tribal electronic drum. to keep up to date with a large group of knowledge, so that when they meet, they know the latest news and gossip.

Dr. Lewis approved the warning that in connection with personal computers and video games, mobile is having a detrimental effect on children's social skills. The mobile now often replaces the physical game, he explained. To develop the right friendships, you have to invest time with people, do things together. Speaking on the phone and sending lots of text messages will give the children a lot more knowledge but less friends. They replace quality to quantity. Sociologists have also warned that the popularity of e-mailing, text messaging and gaming on mobile phones affects other important activities such as reading leisure and studying. One-third of people aged between 16 and 20 prefer text messaging to all other forms of written communication, according to a survey last year by Mori for Vodafone. The handset manufacturers claim, however, that they are not on the market for those under 16 years of age. A government report last year highlighted the increased risk for children under 16 using mobile phones and a circular sent to schools suggests that under this age children should be allowed to make calls only in case of emergency.

Video: How are Microchips Made? CPU Manufacturing Process Steps

Integrated Circuits, CPUs, GPUs, Systems on a Chip, Microcontroller Chips, and all the other different types of microchips are the brains of all the devices and technology that we use on a daily basis. But have you ever wondered how these microchips are made? Well, in this video, we're going to take a tour of a microchip fabrication plant or fab and walk you through the dozens of steps used to make a microchip. Specifically, we focus on how CPUs are made. CPU, GPU, and Smartphone Microchip manufacturing is a multi-trillion dollar industry, and each factory costs in the tens of billions of dollars. This is an overview of all the processes used to make a microchip, as well as an overview of a microchip factory. We're planning more videos on microchip manufacturing, such as a 3D animated factory tour.

This is the MOST complicated video we've made by FAR!! 4 different animators have been working on this video non-stop for the past 5 months, for a total of 1300 hours of research, modeling, script writing, animating, editing, animating again, rendering, and then more editing. World’s First “Bioprocessor” Uses Human Brain Tissue for Computing

Neuroplatform incorporates brain tissue with traditional circuitry and hardware

Infowars.com

A Swiss startup claims to have created the world’s first “bioprocessor” by integrating human brain tissue into a digital processor.

FinalSpark claims that its Neuroplatform will “consume a million times less power than traditional digital processors” and is capable of learning and processing information.

Neuroplatform uses architecture that mixes hardware, software and biology, otherwise known as “wetware.” The platform contains four multi-electrode arrays (MEAs) which house living brain tissue, or organoids.

Each MEA holds four organoids, interfaced by eight electrodes used for both stimulation and recording, and uses analog convertors for data transfer. The platform contains a life-support system for the living tissue and also monitoring cameras. A special software system allows researchers to enter commands and also read outputs.

6G Wireless Communication Could Be on Its Way Soon

6G signals can now be curved around objects using special technology

Infowars.com

6G wireless communication could be coming soon, as one of the major problems associated with the technology appears to have been solved.

Up to now, one of the main obstacles to 6G communication has been the tiny size of the terahertz waves it uses. These are easily disrupted by obstacles like walls, furniture and living creatures.

Video: What's Really Happening At CERN

The world’s most astonishing science experiment, simply explained.

On the border between France and Switzerland is the biggest science experiment humanity has ever built. Over a 100 meters underground, there’s a tunnel 27 kilometers long in a big loop under nearby homes, businesses, and farms. Inside that tunnel, scientists built a blue tube big enough to crawl through, and inside that tube, they put two pipes that they keep colder and emptier than outer space. Down those pipes, they fire particles smaller than atoms in opposite directions…. and push them faster and faster… until when they’re almost at the speed of light… they SMASH TOGETHER.

This underground particle-smasher is also known as the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. It took thousands of scientists from over nearly 100 different countries $5 billion dollars and 30 years to plan and build. My question is: Why? Why did they do that??? Why spend so much money and time to smash particles underground? And now… why do so many scientists say what we really need to do is build… a BIGGER one? To answer those questions, we’re going on a journey all the way to Switzerland, to the particle smasher itself! And you’re never going to see yourself or the world around you the same way…
