Once again Tucker draws attention to a deeply troubling reality, this time how the Left has completely reversed a fundamental  principle our country was founded upon, namely the motto "E Pluribus Unum" which means "out of many, one."   Without asking anyone whether or not they wanted it the Left has forced the exact opposite on us with all the "diversity is our strength" nonsense. Like everything the Left pushes the reality is the exact opposite of what they claim it is.

In one of the sadder commentaries on the state of political discourse in America, there have been numerous incidents where a person wearing a red “Make America Great Again” ballcaps has been refused service in restaurants or even attacked.

In a country where some now view even the American flag as a symbol of hate and oppression, it is the hat made popular by then-candidate Donald Trump during his historic campaign that is the most despised apparel item in the land and with the rise of mob behavior, wearing it can put a person in danger.

Perhaps the most familiar incidents were the 16-year-old teen getting a drink thrown in his face at a Texas Whataburger and a black customer being harassed by the staff at a Florida Cheesecake Factory but these are indicative of a disturbing pattern that flies in the face of such longstanding American traditions such as free speech and freedom of expression.

However, there still are Americans who value our freedoms and one of those happens to be wearing a hat in public that is neither obscene nor promotes violence and several of these folks turned up in a brilliant social experiment that was staged and filmed by ABC for an episode of the hit show “What Would You Do?”

This is totally brilliant if you missed it the first time.

The Abolition of Man by C.S. Lewis was first copyrighted in 1944, which makes this short booklet all the more astonishing.  The insight Lewis had in those years of the pervasive philosophy that was intermingling within the educational systems is just as relevant for today, and now it is right in our faces. We can see vividly the corruption of morals and basic decency that is leading us more and more toward a Godless society.  C.S. Lewis looked logically at what happens when faith and tradition are removed from a society.  And we just watched what Lewis was describing in Judge Kavanaugh’s hearings, including the protests by Soros-paid anarchists.
 

Men Without Chests

“Men Without Chests” is the curious title of the first chapter of C.S. Lewis’ Abolition of Man.  Lewis explains that the “The Chest” is one of the “indispensable liaison officers between cerebral man and visceral man. It may even be said that it is by this middle element that man is man: for by his intellect he is mere spirit and by his appetite mere animal.” Without “Chests” we are unable to have confidence that we can grasp objective reality and objective truth.

The result of such chest-less education, as Lewis warns, is a dystopian and totalitarian future.

As our society disintegrates into what C.S. Lewis described in his short booklet, we are seeing more and more men without chests.  Those men are allowing the destruction of our society by anarchists who literally hate America and her culture and want it destroyed.

If young adults are America’s future, then they better get their act together. Today, over 30 percent of 18 to 34-year-olds live with their parents or other family members. Meanwhile, marriage rates and fertility rates in the United States have both hit record lows in recent years. Instead of coddling these self-absorbed Millennial narcissists well into their adult years, we need to be kicking them out of the nest and encouraging them to learn to fend for themselves. In many instances, if they do not learn how to act like adults by the time they are 35, they never will. It is time for parents all over America to exercise some tough love, because we are facing a major national crisis.

If you go all the way back to the mid-1970s, well over half of all 18 to 34-year-olds were already married and lived with their new spouse in their new households.

But today the most common living arrangement for those in that age group is living with Mommy and Daddy…

In 1975, when the oldest Boomers were 29, 57% of 18 to 34- year-olds lived with a spouse in their own household. Even as late as 1990, almost half lived with a partner. But in 2016, 31% were living in their parents’ home, making it the new, most common living arrangement for young adults, according to Census data.

Yes, I know that life is rough and housing is expensive and good jobs are hard to find.

But that is what being an adult is all about – overcoming the tough times and learning to stand on your own.

When does diversity become “dieversity”? Perhaps when those whose worst high-school subject was science and who are unemployed are favored over licensed pilots for all-important air-traffic controller positions. This is precisely what’s happening, too, under Obama-era FAA “diversity” rules — created because the air-traffic-control corps was “too white.”

For decades, the selection process for the Federal Aviation Administration’s air traffic controllers was rigorous. After all, one minor mistake could cost hundreds of people their lives.

But a new report from Fox News host Tucker Carlson revealed the Obama administration modified the FAA’s candidate selection process to value workplace diversity over competency, experience and skills.

What are the details?

According to Carlson, due to changes implemented during the Obama administration, air traffic controller candidates are now required to complete a “biographical questionnaire” before even being considered for a job with the FAA.

If they don’t pass, they aren’t considered for a position — no matter how much experience they have or how qualified they are.

Fox News obtained a copy of the questionnaire and how it is scored. According to Carlson, candidates whose worst subject in high school was science [and who played a lot of sports] and candidates who are unemployed receive the most points possible on the test. In contrast, licensed pilots and those with extensive air traffic control knowledge aren’t highly scored.

An FAA spokesman contacted was unable to explain to Fox News why diversity was prioritized over competence, and no agency official will come on Carlson’s show to address the outrage.

So what’s going on? Michael Pearson, an ex-air-traffic controller and “an attorney representing a man suing the FAA over its diversity test, told Carlson [video below] the test is intentionally designed to ‘weed out’ experienced candidates, especially those with an aviation background,” the Blaze further related.
