We Won't Be Able To Kick Them All Out Until We Adopt A Revolutionay Dispassionate And Objective View Of The Political Process.

The definition of atheist is usually confined to someone who doesn't believe in God, someonw who doesn't believe there is an all-powerful unseen Being that created the entire universe and who watches over us.  An atheist is someone who isn't someone without faith.  An atheist is just someone who doesn't have any confidence in basing perception and understanding of the world around us on nothing but strongly-held "beliefs."

Emilio Gentile, an internationally renowned authority on fascism and totalitarianism wrote a book entitled "Politics As Religion," and in it he argues that politics over the past two centuries has often taken on the features of religion, claiming as its own the prerogative of defining the fundamental purpose and meaning of human life. Secular political entities such as the nation, the state, race, class, and the party became the focus of myths, rituals, and commandments and gradually became objects of faith, loyalty, and reverence.

Gentile examines this "sacralization of politics," as he defines it, both historically and theoretically, seeking to identify the different ways in which political regimes as diverse as fascism, communism, and liberal democracy have ultimately depended, like religions, on faith, myths, rites, and symbols.

I’m going to assume you’re reading this because the basic idea sounds pretty darn good to you.  It just has a nice ring to it doesn’t it?  Kick Them All Out!  The fact of the matter is, our political system is supposed to be set up to allow us to do just that if the people we hire are not doing the job we hire them to do, which is to look out for OUR best interests.   Since we see that virtually every politician is primarily engaged in doing the bidding of special interest groups and the expense of the rest of us, it’s only natural we would feel the best and only solution would be to fire every last one of them.

 

To Kick Them Out We Must Vote Them Out!

It is astounding that so many of us never consider the fact that we have a system in place for holding members of Congress accountable.  Problem is we never use it in a way that can actually accomplish the goal.  We have a thing called "ELECTIONS" and they are held every two years like clockwork.  We just need to use the system that is already in place in a new revolutionary way.  We have to stop using elections in the same old dysfunctional way that always results in most every incumbent remaining in office.

For this project to succeed, we all need to be very clear on what the point of it is, which is to cast our votes to accomplish something significantly more important than deciding which party controls Congress. The point of this project is to use the power of our vote to rid our government of the two most corrupting influences, corporate special interest lobbyists and all the career politicians responsible for turning our government over to them. No incumbent will lift a finger to help. They ALL need to go or we will never get back OUR government.

Federal Representatives Are

The United States Congress is comprised of a lower House, the U.S. House of Representatives, and an upper house, the U.S. Senate.

The term in office for a member elected to the U.S. House of Representatives is two years.  The term for a member elected to the Senate is six years.

Every two years  there is a general election where every member in the House of Representatives is up for reelection.   Every two years only 1/3 of the members in the Senate are up for reelection so it will take three election cycles to clean out the incumbents in the Senate.

The Kick Them All Out Project is a simple two-step plan to SERIOUSLY begin the process of ending corporate special interest corruption in our government and election process. 

Step 1: Right now, most of our representatives in Congress think everything is fine exactly the way it is.  They pay lip service to the corruption, but most are completely complicit in the corruption.  So the first order of business needs to be doing what we have to in order to fill the Congress with people that actually have an interest in cleaning up all the corruption.

We can do this by simply firing every single incumbent in a landslide election.  If you're a staunch Republican, vote for any other Republican other than the incumbent.  If you're a staunch Democrat, vote for any other democrat than the incumbent.  If you don't belong to any party, just vote for anybody other than the incumbents.  (If this way of dealing with the problem makes you uncomfortable, please see the FAQ section that addresses most all the fears and objections people have raised). 

By doing this simple task, in a totally committed way, we can impose our undeniable will over our representatives and establish once and for all, we control their jobs, not special interest groups or the political parties they control.  If we do this just once, we will prove we are willing and capable of doing it, which will give new meaning to "the will of the people." 

Until we do this, nobody is going to pay any attention to us.  Once we have their attention, we can demand they do what's necessary to start the process of closing the legal loopholes corporations have used to take over our government and elections.  Once we have their attention, we can set the mandate to accomplish Step 2 within their first year in office.  If they don't, we let them all know they are going to ALL be fired in the next election.  We do this until we get Step 2 accomplished.

Step Two:  Creating the legal framework necessary to revoke the human rights protections corporations have been claiming by distorting the meaning and intent of the 14th Amendment.  This one legal contrivance lies at the heart of why corporate special interests are allowed to directly interfere in government and elections.  By closing this tiny loophole, we can literally defang corporate power over our lives and our government and shift the balance of power back to our side of the equation.

The good news is it's very, very simple.  All we need to do is submit an amendment to the Constitution that clarifies the true intent and meaning of the 14th Amendment.
 

Fourteenth Amendment
Section. 1. ALL PERSONS born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

We are not talking about creating a whole new amendment.  All we need is an amendment that clarifies an existing amendment.  Then, all we need to do is put enough pressure on our representative and DEMAND they pass it and put the required pressure on our state representatives to ratify it.   This Amendment is literally the key to the REAL beginning of the end of corporate control over our government, elections and our lives.

Below is an example of the kind of simple resolution that will be required to add the necessary amendment to the Constitution.  The following amendment will close the legal doors on the largest problem facing this nation - corporate interference and control of our government and bureaucracies.  I can't emphasize strongly enough the importance of getting an amendment like this ratified.  It is the ONLY thing that will allow us to legally get corporate control out of our government and a political process.

Amending the constitution is a Constitutional process.   It was established to ensure the Constitution remains relevant to the circumstance and needs of the times.   And the time for this kind of amendment is way past due!  If you want to end the primary source of all major corruption, WE MUST DEMAND THIS AMENDMENT BE ADDED TO THE CONSTITUTION as quickly as possible.  The bottom line is we cannot get corporate money and their lobbyists out of the system until we close this loophole.  It's absolutely essential.

So the big question is, do you want business-as-usual to change in government or not?  If you do, these are the first "specific" steps we must take.

 

 

“Throw The Bums Out!” is a very common saying we use to describe what we all want to do to the corrupt and incompetent politicians.  It’s the obvious thing to do to anyone we elect who sells us out to special interest money and political party insiders. 

We all know the vast majority of our employees in Congress are not being attentive to "our business," attentive to protecting and defending our best interests.  Instead, our employees are doing the bidding of those with the most wealth and power. 

Nobody in their right mind would keep employees that are corrupt and incompetent and doing harm to the business.  So this begs the question . . . when are we going to wake up and realize we are not and have not been in our right minds because we don't do anything to get rid of these useless and destructive employees.

Despite the fact that we know nothing ever changes for the better after an election, despite the fact that our employees continue to betray us at ever turn, we routinely allow 80% or more of our employees to keep their jobs.  It never seems to dawn on us what irresponsible employers we are.  WE do nothing to hold our employees accountable.  We do nothing to ensure they do a good job and then blame the employees for exploiting our incompetence. 

As long as we continue to participate in elections like we always have, as long as we play the establishment's game, we will never have any serious influence over our representatives.  Why?  Because they know how easy we are to manipulate into playing their game.  They are supremely confident they can continue to exploit our conditioning and suck most of us into believing there's some genuine difference between the two main political parties and it makes a difference who we elect.

How Do We Know

It's time we all face the fact that WE ARE RESPONSIBLE for the mess we're in.  We do nothing to stop what's happening.  Granted most of us don't have any idea about what to do about it . . . but the fact remains, WE send everyone we elect into a totally corrupt environment where they are surrounded by approximately 11,000 lobbyists and ruthlessly corrupt politicians and expect them to fend for themselves against all those highly trained sharks.  There are roughly 20 lobbyists for every member of Congress in Washington.  Entrenched career politicians and lobbyists are highly skilled at the art of the con and highly skilled at manipulating people.  Is it realistic to expect any decent person we put at their mercy is going to be able to survive intact?  Is it realistic to expect they won't be beaten down or eventually corrupted themselves? 

We don't realize we depend on corrupt people in a corrupt system to teach everyone we send to Washington how the system works.  It's nuts.  And then we get all pissed off because nothing changes and most every politician becomes corrupt.  This is why it makes no significant difference who we elect?  Until we change the environment, until we at least make it more difficult for the corruption machine to rage on, nobody we elect is going to be able to make a significant scratch.

This corrupt environment is why the approval rating of Congress rarely rises above 20% and has dropped into single digits. If we want things to change we have to first do something about the corrupt environment in government.  Until we change the environment, until we disrupt the corruption machine so it no longer functions as the well-oiled operation it is, nothing is going to change for the better. 

The way our elections are currently orchestrated virtually guarantees that most people who are already in office will win reelection whether they have done a good job or not.  If they play ball with all the corrupt political insiders, they will get the money and party support that they need to con enough people into voting for them over and over again.  They will even benefit from vote tampering if the need should arise.

The only direct and immediate influence we have over politicians is by exercising our power to hire and fire them through regularly scheduled elections.  If we want a different outcome after an election, we have to do something radically different.  We must try a different approach if we want a different result. 

 

The Kick Them All Out Project is first and foremost a revolutionary new voting strategy that will enable us to fire 80% or more of our corrupt and incompetent employees.  How can we do that?
 

Simply adopt a new reason
and purpose for voting.

The current reason we vote is to elect someone who will represent our interests in government.  If we don't feel the people we elect are representing our interests we think we can vote to elect someone else who will hopefully do a better job.

We simply need to change the reason and purpose of voting from electing someone the REMOVING SOMEONE. You may be wondering, "what's the big difference?" When you vote for someone new you're also removing someone.   The difference is, when the reason you vote is to elect someone, there is an expectation that the new person is going to somehow make things better.  

The revolutionary new approach is to commit to the perspective that it makes no difference who we elect.  We no longer imagine anyone is going to be able to stop the machine until we change the environment in Washington until we make it impossible for all those banking/corporate lobbyists and corrupt politicians from doing what they've been allowed to do with utter impunity.  They have used their wealth and power to make every crime they want to commit legal and they will never pass any legislation that would lead to a serious reduction of their power.

The Kick Them All Out Project voting strategy is based on the understanding that "it makes no difference who replaces the incumbent."  There is no expectation that the person who is elected to replace the incumbent is going to make things better.   The point of the Kick Them All Out Project voting strategy isn't to find good people to elect, it's time to send a LOUD MESSAGE to Washington that we've had enough!  We need to PROVE ME MEAN IT!  We need to prove "We the People" will no longer continue to elect entrenched, corrupt and incompetent career politicians!

Most people don't feel they can do anything about the systemic corruption all around us.  It's simply too overwhelming.  Most people feel no power at all.  The Kick Them All Out Project is not an answer to every problem.  It's simply a place to start.  A way for us all to tap into the only power we really have to effect real immediate change.

Every revolution must begin with a serious confrontation that makes it clear we are serious as a heart attack.  Every revolution begins with the line being drawn beyond which we will go no further.
