Video: The Occupation of the American Mind

Polling shows strong global opposition to Israel’s illegal 50-year occupation of Palestinian land, and mounting outrage over Israel’s ongoing slaughter of unarmed Palestinian civilians who are fighting for their rights. Nevertheless, public sympathy and support for Israel within the US continues to hold strong. The Occupation of the American Mind zeroes in on this critical exception, breaking down the devastatingly effective public relations war that Israel and right-wing pro-Israel advocacy groups have been waging for decades in the US. Narrated by Roger Waters and featuring leading observers of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, the film explores how the Israeli government, the US government, and the pro-Israel lobby have joined forces, often with very different motives and interests, to shape American media coverage of the conflict in Israel’s favor. The result is a stunning look at how — and why — American media coverage of the conflict regularly minimizes the occupation, vilifies critics of Israeli policy, and dehumanizes the Palestinian people.

Video: Cross Talk USS Liberty Attack Episode

For the 50th Anniversary of the USS Liberty attack by Israel, RT decided to go on the attack. On this episode, in order to do so, they naturally invite Ken O'Keefe to tell it how it is. However, this is all very curious.

The Israel Lobby: Time for a Second Edition

Editors Note: Some may wonder why articles like this are posted on this site.  Well, quite simple.  Israel is a foreign country and wields iron fist influence over our representatives and will utterly ruin the career of anyone who doesn't do what they want.  It is one of the main reasons our government is such a swamp crap hole.  Our government isn't our government.  It belongs to Israel.  It uses our government and resources to do much of it's dirty work PLUS it extorts BILLIONS in foreign aid.

BY Paul Craig Roberts

PaulCraigRoberts.org

A decade ago in 2007 John J. Mearsheimer, the R. Wendell Harrison Distinguished Service Professor of Political Science and codirector of the Program on International Security Policy at the University of Chicago, and Stephen M. Walt, the Robert and Renee Belfer Professor of International Affairs at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and Academic Dean of the Kennedy School from 2002-2006, published The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy. The publisher was the prestigious publishing house, Farrar, Straus and Giroux. The authors made a convincing case that Israel operating through its American lobbies, which are not registered as foreign agents, succeeds in using US foreign policy in Israel’s interests. The authors conclude that the use of US foreign policy in Israel’s interests is damaging to both America’s national interests and to Israel’s long-term security.

Many were pleased that two distinguished experts had breached a taboo issue. But the Israel Lobby was not among them. Instantly, the authors and the book were denounced as anti-semitic. The demonstration that Israel had influence was misrepresented as the claim that Israel controlled the US government. The authors were denounced for their “extremism” which some alleged could result in a new holocaust.

Other critics took a different approach and claimed that there was no difference between Israeli and US interests and that anything that served Israel also served America. Some evangelicals added: “and also serves God.”

The authors remained dispassionate throughout the long controversy and stuck to their point that Israel’s influence on US foreign policy was not in the interest of either country.

If we think of a spectrum with influence at one end shading into control at the other, in the decade since The Israel Lobby was published Israel has moved closer to the control end of the spectrum. For example, we learn from the Israeli newspaper Haaretz that a bill in the US House of Representatives “would require U.S. to consult with Israel before selling arms in Mideast” HAARETZ .

Last month the House of Representatives unanimously passed HR 672 titled “Combating European Anti-Semitism Act of 2017.” Former CIA official Philip Giraldi reports that “the bill requires the State Department to monitor what European nations and their police forces are doing about anti-Semitism.” In other words, the bill makes Washington an enforcer over Europe for Israel. There is a companion bill in the US Senate GLOBAL RESEARCH .

And then there is S. 722 backed by AIPAC, titled “An act to provide congressional review and to counter Iranian and Russian aggression.” Iranian and Russian “aggression” exist by assertion, not by fact. The bill more or less makes it impossible for President Trump to remove the sanctions and normalize relations.

And there is much more since 2007. In 2010 the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported Netanyahu’s boast that America was a country easy for him to manipulate HAARETZ. In 2015 Congress without consulting President Obama invited Netanyahu to address Congress on the appropriate US foreign policy toward Iran. Congress is accustomed to grovelling at Israeli feet. Every year Congress attends AIPAC’s meeting and pays homage to its liege lord. One would think that the sight of the legislative body affirming its allegiance to Israel would raise questions about what country Congress represents.

If Mearsheimer and Walt have the strength, the time is ripe for a second edition of The Israel Lobby.

Video: Ex-Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney Exposes The Israel Lobby (AIPAC)

Editor's Note:  Guess why she's an EX-Congresswoman?

This video explains how the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) continued mandatory demands that all U.S. Congressional Representatives pledge: that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, to Israel’s military superiority and that they vote for funding of Israel. Ms. Cynthia McKinney affirms that the Jewish Anti-defamation League assisted in the political tactic of redistricting, which caused her to lose her re-election bid to Congress.

AIPAC Seeks to Imprison Americans for Opposition to Israel

By SARTRE
batr.org

Seldom does an agent for a foreign country dare to push legislation that in effect would prohibit constitutional protections to exercise lawful defiance. Before undertaking a scrutiny of this tragic abuse of legislation, one needs to understand the malevolent nature of AIPAC. Examine the article, AIPAC Zionists - the Archenemy of the American Nation for a detailed analysis of the fifth column that operates with impunity on our very shores. If you are concerned about collusion into our elections by a foreign power, look no further than the strings pulled on Congressional representatives, who are toadies for the state of Israel.

Glenn Greenwald from The Intercept provides a compelling case that U.S. Lawmakers Seek to Criminally Outlaw Support for Boycott Campaign Against Israel. This is a most important essay because it provides irrefutable evidence of the methods that AIPAC uses to shape the "PC" orthodox culture and control Congressional legislation for the sole purpose of protecting the Zionist regime.

Greenwald writes on this treasonous legislation. "The proposed measure, called the Israel Anti-Boycott Act (S. 720), was introduced by Cardin on March 23. The Jewish Telegraphic Agency reports that the bill “was drafted with the assistance of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.” Indeed, AIPAC, in its 2017 lobbying agenda, identified passage of this bill as one of its top lobbying priorities for the year:"

Criminalizing the expression of protected free speech and the righteous dissent of political expression against a foreign government, which is a permanent constitutional Bill of Rights safeguard, because extreme Jewish Zionists maintain their loyalty to Israel above the natural rights of all Americans; is obscenely offensive.

When the ACLU objects to this proposed statute being pushed by Israel-First zealots, the normally reliable pro Zionists signifies that the assault on civil liberties must be so egregious that resistance to the Reign of Terror from AIPAC must be recognized. Read the ACLU letter to the 45 senators support bill that makes boycotting Israel a crime, urging them to Oppose S. 720 – Israel Anti-Boycott Act.

The essential aspects that have alarming consequence from this S. 720 legislation follow as cited in The Intercept essay.

Video: Palestine Is Still The Issue

This is the truth about what the Jews have done to the Palestinian people.  The world just turns a blind eye to the utterly ruthless Palestinian Holocaust perpetrated by Israel. Decades of illegal collective punishment to wipe Palestinians off the face of the earth and the world just lets them do it with impunity.  Why?  Because it is claimed Jews are the chosen people?  I don't believe for one second that God approves of any of this.  It's pure evil.

Video: Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land

Peace, Propaganda & the Promised Land provides a striking comparison of U.S. and international media coverage of the crisis in the Middle East, zeroing in on how structural distortions in U.S. coverage have reinforced false perceptions of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This pivotal documentary exposes how the foreign policy interests of American political elites--oil, and a need to have a secure military base in the region, among others--work in combination with Israeli public relations strategies to exercise a powerful influence over how news from the region is reported.
